I wouldn't think so at twenty. I'm 53 and I probably am. I've been questioning myself a lot about this in recent times. I've been a fan for ten years and feel it isn't age appropriate anymore particularly as I am here arguing with a bunch of youngsters over it. K pop is geared up for the youngins but not for the over 50 set. I feel I don't belong here and just wasting my time. I still like listening to the music but not be on a forum talking about it. Imo, you are the perfect age for K pop.

Maybe, but after a certain age you have to start questioning yourself especially when you're as old as me.
I will be very surprised if I ever do. I love the music, and will always have it with me. Even if new music and groups aren't my tastes (which I don't think will happen) I will still have the music I currently enjoy to take with me.

I'm the same age as you and the answer is no for me, I just feel too old to be a proper stan
(even though that part of being a kpop fan I grew out of naturally)

You're never too old to like music
True, but it depends on what music it is. At my age, people do start to question.

I know people of your age who listen to K-pop. It's nothing to be ashamed about! You're not too old. It's only weird if you make it weird. You're fine as long as you're not creepy towards minors (like all adults) and I doubt that you are so you're all good!

Well I'm starting to question it. Not the music itself per se but certainly the groups and the "fan girl" culture. My daughter should be the fan not me considering she was the one who got me into it and no I certainly don't fantasize over minors. Even some of my bias boy groups are a little too young for me. It's not considered normal though for fifty somethings to be a fan of that kind of genre and I often get judged for it on and off line.
