What do you think is an odd age to become a KPOP idol?
I feel like they are debuting younger and younger.
I'd say 17 or 18 would be a good age. I'd think 14-16 would be a period to start training rather than debut...

15 and younger is a nope unless the whole band will just be kids
anything below 16 is too young for me.
12-15
People debut that young!?
People debut that young!?
OH LORDT. LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO GP BASIC.
I think at the time the youngest member was either 11 or 12 (the one rapping)

In sixteen there were pretty young contestants and if they had made it through they would've debuted

WOAH that's soo young!! I--
And I thought Natty being on Sixteen was bad enough and that was before her debut.

I know about SIXTEEN lmao, I'm a Twice stan but I didn't mention it since it was before debut. But I also noticed that Somi almost debuted in Twice but she wasn't old enough. So the chance for the younger people in the show to debut was even smaller than Nayeon per se, one of the oldest.
13-14. I'm like enjoy more of your childhood!
I prefer idols to debut after 18 or 21. Theyll have some sense of the world tho they won't have as many opportunities. Below 18 is just not right especially with produce, jyp and sm oversexualising underage idols. A lot of companies do this.
Just debut idols when they reach adulthood or ensure groups under 18 aren't forced into adult concepts.
it depends bc some cute concepts are ok even for like 5 year olds.
just find it really disgusting when really young kids get sexified and wear sexy clothes and dance like little hookers.
also think there should be better protection from predators and morally bankrupt parents/guardians who mentally, financially, and physically abuse kids.
Well I know 7 is defo a really young age to be a kpop idol but with kpop hatred towards ageing, I actually wouldn't be surprised

Yes, exactly. That shouldn't be allowed at all...
anything under 16 for me, but if im thinking like a company then anything under 14
15 is pretty meh, i mean one of my ults debuted at 15 but
13 and below?
