But, shouldn't child media be under more scrutiny? When I was little, I watched Warner Bros' cartoon, Tweety & Sylvester, Yom & Jerry etc. without thinking much. But, when I grew older and took a psychology class, I learnt that those media could help implant aggression in kids, violence (beating, hitting etc) was shown as no biggie. On the other hand, a cartoon like Winnie the Pooh where animals of different species befriending could help lessen racism.

The powers that be always try to make you see the benefit of it first so you don't feel threatened . And they count on your response being "well ok thats understandable". until later on your own jobs will gone just like that.

People either have to read in between the lines or have a higher amount of self awareness to see whats really going on. Extreme bans and censorship is NEVER a good thing. No matter how many positive spins you try to put on it.

If the government can do this to famous people or famous works, then they can do the same to you. And when censorship and erasure happens to you, no one is gonna even care. So thats why you need to stand up now when its happening to those in popular entertainment.
