I really like aespa - they have an interesting direction in music that I'm looking out for for sure. I just wanna commend that I'm very impressed at how almost equally everybody shines (if I even phrased that correctly). Everyone has good/reasonable line distribution with the main/lead vocalists having more lines and the rappers have their rap moments in comparison to other SM groups (e.g. early NCT & RV). This is why to this day I still cannot choose an aespa bias because I love them equally. They sort of define for me one of the most vital qualities of a good group - everyone is able to shine.

The all-members-can-be-ace thing is really fascinating especially since they all have important and long parts in their songs. I am so looking up to their future.

Each member shine and they all fit their role perfectly, like Karina is the main dancer because she's the best one, Giselle is the rapper because she's the best in this area etc...
there's no member where i'm like " well i don't think this member deserve this position"
+ they are such a well rounded GG, it's not a GG where i can say the group can survive if one member is missing, because they are just like a puzzle , each member represent a piece, and put together they are perfect
also visually they just look good next to each other, and have very distinctive features from each other
Vocally, their harmonies are amazing, they can harmonize perfectly on the spot, you can show that SM really choose the member base on the affinity of their voices, they match each other very well

Even though I didn't like their past two comebacks. I love that they don't care much about inneundos boys/girls or love.
The market was oversaturated with the same cute or sexy concepts in the previous gens itself. Aespa dwell on the lyrics of kwangya and the relationship with their ae or the villain.
It's refreshing to see a sci fi warrior ish cool concept that deals solely with the girls and their world. Mys are really lucky. It's such a fantastic concept.

I agree! Honestly SM groups in general are very unique. I remember EXO first debuting with superpowers which was such a really interesting and unique thing to come out of KPOP. Anyway, aespa is also really unique when it comes to concept and storytelling as well which I think is so refreshing.

I was thinking about this today they never sing about love or the emotions that come with being in love or lust (other than Forever but that’s not counted as a proper comeback)

Exactly! Love, lust, inneudos, queerbaiting like I'm sick of seeing the same thing again and again and again. Female idols have come out against oversexualisation but the industry keeps pushing the same sexy concept in different dressing.
Aespa was so refreshing compared to the same recycled lyrics. I hope sm utitlises this opportunity, the girls are so entertaining and popular and the concept is amazing. I was so happy when they burst onto the scene.
