LET'S SEE WHAT SHE HAS IN STORE..
Things I liked :-
1. She definitely injects personality into this song, but that's not enough.
2. Props to PRODUCERS for adding different sound elements.
3. Intro was promising. Also, the Last verse was nice.
That's about it.
Now onto
Things I didn't :-
1. Her rapping at times feels too try hard.... Not the whole song but some bits like the second verse.
2. Instrumental is EMPTY at times. It's not spaced out enough for me.
3. Arguably the worst transition I have heard yet...... At 2:19.....
There was absolutely no logical reason to hold out that "A" for as long for transition into a Rap-heavy verse.
4. You know what? After the last rap verse, she should have ended that song, to be honest, It would have been way better.
5. I don't particularly like the phrasing and the way she sings/raps from 1:36 to 1:42, that sounds lazy and unpleasant to my ears.
6. Chorus feels flat and soulless.
Final rating :- 4.75/10
Conclusion :- Weak debut. Totally predictable sound pallet, I knew she would go with this type of song, not that it is a bad thing, I just like to be surprised.
I wonder if I should do a review thread for Money as well?
