[Prediction] High Teen is gonna become the new trendy concept

Twice is doing it with The Feels.

Are all these groups following the high school trend set by Olivia with her Sour Prom album?

Yep. I can definitely see it becoming really trendy. Girl Crush has become really oversaturated and Teen Crush got old quickly with everyone and their mother doing it last year. But I don't think that kpop fans want the TWICE and Gfriend style cute concepts just yet. So this is the perfect in-between.

Highteen paved the way

I can enjoy a Weeekly or a STAYC song here and there. But I have a hard time sharing the same excitement as others have for these groups. Their concepts just don't move me that much.

Most of all, I think the high/teen/crush concept (or whatever you call it) is already properly covered by woo!ah! who do a better job in my opinion at combining these different aspects. They're equally cute, quirky, sassy, lovely (and lots of other epithets). They embody perfectly this genre.

Yep forgot about Somi. I think she and Teddy clearly went for the Sour Prom trend. Looks like The Feels from Twice is a continuation of that. StayC's new release as well.

I know I'm getting old when I've seen the same style and fashion trends for like the third time... I used to get annoyed when my parents would say, "oh we used to do that when we were kids!" and now I'm like oh it's actually true.
