both user said they aim for the western market. that makes sense when they care more about charting there. And it isn't bad to release it in the daytime. I'm sure Lisa will get her promo in South Korea too.

If they tease it at the right time in the west and build enough hype, then western fans will stream the MV whenever it’s drop time is, but daytime in Korea makes most sense for it to make an impact on home ground, I should imagine.

Tell me, don't you want to understand people? I doubt that the times have anything to do with South Korea, and refer only to the western market. Why these times are so decisive, I don't know, but basically I don't believe that South Korea is that much of interest to YG. They aim clearly for the western market. The timing has it's reasons.
You could also look at it this way. People in South Korea and Thailand wake up and see Lisa's teaser because they are watching the news. And the timing for the MV release is definitely related to the western market, so.
You refer way too much about the timing of the teaser and mv for a good promo.

Just stop with all your logic and intelligence. Lisa is gonna kill. She is doing Fallon. I don’t understand why MTV hasn’t reach out to her for a performance at the Video Music Awards. She would have an amazing stage there.
