Personally, i would love to see bts do a hiphop cb & i think the boys are preparing for a new era, but whatever they want to do, is up to them.

I hope they do it at least once a year. I enjoy how their English pop tracks have taken the 80s style. I love listening to old songs and BTS dynamite along with butter fit so well on my playlist

I prefer their korean comebacks, I liked Dynamite and after that they gave us BE which I love, but after that I would be okay with just Butter, but Butter + PTD era it has been so long and the two songs don't do it for me, they don't have the essense their korean songs have and I'm tired of these english songs.

And imo english songs are like their japanese songs, they release them to cater to that territory and they are an addition to their korean discography, but people are more tired about them because of the long promo.

But I'm sure their next comeback is a korean album and they will comeback strong.

Anyway, I must say that there is something in OP's post that irks me a lot. And no, it is not their wish for BTS to release hip hop songs. Which they kind of did a few months ago. For example Disease.

I still cant understand that how people completely forget BE came out just after dynamite.

Also I wish people here and also on reddit just shut up about bts losing their values and Korean identity. They are Korean and will remain Korean and 3 English songs are not gonna change that.

And since when releasing music in another language is equal to losing morals and values. They are going to release the music what they would like. And unlike weird assumptions created by lot of mantis RM did love PTD.

When someone says BTS is losing their morals over releasing 3 english pop songs, you know that this thread is BS.

I think many don't consider the position BTS is in now. Because of their success and their true global popularity, they are being approached by every possible outlet. I think as artists, the opportunity to collab with other artists, producers, composers of their caliber is a very exciting opportunity. So in my opinion they'd be silly to ignore that for the sake of staying true to "kpop".

BTS is known for exploring many different sounds and genres, their last album had Dis-ease which was a hip hop track. So even with all this, wedding music? they're still staying true to their hip hop roots.
