If GP999 debut group ends up with 3 koreans, 3 chinese and 3 japanese

    Then they are going to be big with i-fans, but I'm unsure with koreans. Maybe the k-fans would only accept a lineup with 5-6 koreans. Something I'm pretty sure Msnake will pull off in the last episode.

    Tbh it depends. Koreans may be interested in seeing such a new concept. They don’t even look at groups with 100% Korean lineups, so I can’t be sure if they’ll get mad at a less than 50% Korean group


    So long as it’s the right members and they’re all good enough in Korean, they’ll do just fine. Or if not, meh this group is internationally pushed anyway hehe

    It will all come down to visuals and chemistry. Visuals and chemistry matter. I know many fans were upset in previous Produce groups that their faves got rigged out but they just didnt fit the visuals that are necessary to produce a successful group. Or their personalities may not have meshed well with other members.


    I think if the group has that special blend of visuals and chemistry that Twice and Izone had, both of which were created from a survival show concept, the group will succeed even if only 3 Koreans are chosen.

    i hope after 2nd round (after 24 left), rest is free for all, no vote by country. pd48 didnt have this artificial cap and it worked wonders for izone. I think something like 4:3:2 K:C:J would be great

    I think you might be shocked to find out, that without the 3:3:3 voting requirement, that this first Vote could very well have been 7/1/1 or even 8/1/0


    I am very glad that they are keeping this for the next elimination down to 6/6/6 because it means at worst it is a 6/2/1 Split for the final lineup and maybe even better if they can manipulate the K-Group with a x3 or something for K-Groups 8th most popular sneaking into the 6 but subsequently not being popular enough overall freeing up a J or C group girl to take that spot


    Honestly the absolute best I can really hope for is 5/2/2


    Also we know Produce 48 was rigged, so "worked wonders for izone" is something of a misnomer, we still to this day do not know who was Rigged IN to the final lineup, what if it was Hitomi and Nako?

    would not having voting restrictions have as you say "worked wonders" if it resulted with an 11/1 Split?
