Do You Listen To Older Groups

yeah, I've listened to a few first gen songs.

I got into Kpop a long time ago, but never bothered to listen to 1st gen groups because there was never this concern that young fans should listen to previous "gens" and be educated about Kpop history whatsoever.

I still listen to some 2nd gen groups here and there like TVXQ but overall the music from that generation is not aging well for me.

yeap. most of popular early 2nd gen acts actually (i'm a late 2nd gen kpop fan).

i've been also into shinhwa for a while. they have some solid songs!

I only listen to some songs by SNSD, SHINee and Brown Eyed Girls. 1st gen sounds too outdated.

No they were a bit before my time. I didn’t get into K pop until 2011 and only listened to groups that were around then.

Not really. I'll check out some songs. I usually don't go further back than 2006.

most kpop songs on my playlist were released before 2013. Same goes for american music.

Yes I do! I love KARA, 4Minute, T-ARA, Girls Generation, and 2NE1 and I still need to get into more groups!

Seriously though, first and second gen is not my forte, so I don’t know a huge amount, but I enjoy a lot of what I’ve heard.
