Why do people even make alt accounts on akp?

As in not lose the friends they made (whilst being fake) when they reveal their true personalities.

Or to spy on users. I remember someone having an alt who got banned but they had a main account because they suspected people were talking behind their back so they decided to befriend them with another account and very, very few people knew that they had an alt until it was too late.
But yeah, they were successful in finding out what they needed to.
It would be kind of cool to go incognito and meet users all over again and not be well-known but I wouldn't risk it because I don't want to lose this account and charade with others.
