when people believe rumors made up by antis (honestly this annoys me a lot because even "fans" get on this nonsense anyways...)

also I really feel upset? if thats the right word, when someone (be a figure, be a anonymous) just say something not so positive about a certain group or idol or music anything and this person get too many threats or overly mean convos idk and all I know this is super vague but I guess one can understand

There's always been a lot of misinformation regarding Mamamoo but July 25 2020 was one of the worst.
Hwasa was accused of wearing African clothes to "scare people" because of a fake translation by a random twitter account. It trended worldwide and even people who didn't know kpop heard about it.
No apology or even clarification from any of the big platforms that spread it. It's still mentioned as her fault to this day.
