BTS should've won SOTY in 2017 and 2018 as well

I'm sorry for spamming threads the last couple of hours. I'll be busy for a few months from tomorrow onwards.

Spring Day and Fake Love were one of the biggest songs those years. 2018 had a bit of competition with Love Scenario, but iKon hardly won SOTY that year. Spring Day and Fake Love were more successful than the songs which actually won SOTY.

And I have a question! Why do these award shows only count success in Korea but call themselves "Asian" award shows? Everybody knows if they counted Asia as a whole, BTS would've been winning SOTY since 2016 by a huge margin. Also international success should also be taken into consideration when rating overall success of a song. It's good for the country if their artist is exporting music and spreading their culture.

BTS got hate for everything in 2017 & 2018. Some even mocked that their songs are unpopular in Korea, only have album sales and blah blah. We all know how false those statements are now. Those daesangs could've been a slap in the face for those haters.

MMA in 2017 and KMA in 2018. They are the only two award shows which give awards which BTS deserves.

iKon did deserve SOTY in 2018, but did they win every SOTY that year? no. the reason is pretty obvious just like how BTS didn't win SOTY in 2017 even though Spring Day is a huge song.
