Depends on the situation. A bad day for you shouldn’t mean you get the right to be an asshole to others uninvolved. It can be tiresome to deal with rude people T.T
If this is in the subway, zero eye contact and keep moving away discreetly if/when possible.
If this is someone I know or a situation that I can’t avoid, I initially respond with kindness and patience. If that fails, I’ll try to communicate about their behavior or a way to show how it affected me. Ignore them if all else fails.

Ehhh depending on if I’m in a mood to piss people off but not usually. I’m pretty chill

My boss says stuff to me to try and get me mad it worked at first but after I realized he was doing it intentionally I would just ignore his rude/asshole remarks if I try to fight it he plays the victim and says I'm misunderstanding him so I piped up and when he got offended I used the same line "you're misunderstanding me" that's not what I "meant" then he just closed his trap looking embarrassed

I'm still trying to figure it out because I turn cold and say things I don't mean when unpleasant people get on my nerves, but I usually just try to pity them instead of getting mad. Because who knows why they turned unpleasant or have those views, and it's even more pitiful if they're just terrible people, to begin with.

Ignore or block. They’re not worth my time or intelligence.
