All of the comeback announcements have been about 2 1/2 to 4 weeks. Although rumors were going around prior, IIRC,

WayV was announced 2 1/2 weeks before drop.

Baekhyun 3 1/2 weeks.

EXO 4 weeks.

DO 3 1/2 weeks.

WayV sub unit 1 week (but there were only 3 songs and a digital only release so..)

NCT Dream 4 weeks.

NCT Dream repackage 3 weeks.

I think Shinee may have had a longer period…

They will announce everything at the last minute. It had always been like that.
