Absolutely. I think there’s a human element to seeing someone’s face or even just hearing someone’s voice.
When we are reading opinions we disagree with, our minds force us to imagine the individual as a despicable antagonist or villain.
It’s important to remember they might be more similar to us or our loved ones than we think. The person you’re so enraged by might even be someone you know, like a family member or someone in your circle of friends. It’s the Internet and AKP is the biggest English-language K-pop community. There is a chance one of your online enemies is someone close to you.
I absolutely agree with this. Even though we shouldn't make ourselves or others do face reveals, it's a good reminder that there's a real person behind the screen who is human and has feelings, just like ourselves.
