Agreed. An American 1984 film called Sixteen Candles is regarded as one of the best coming-of-age films, but it included an infamous, degrading scene that misrepresented Asians. I watched the movie myself, but couldn't respect it as soon as I saw the scene. That's just one example. There are many more that depicted minorities in a derogatory manner.
