there are like 5 weekly music shows, 2 less won't make a difference especially that there is no live audience anyway. if anything this will give idols more time to rest lol

There are 6 weekly music shows actually lol. And those two are the most prestigious.

I think the title is a little misleading too. If those shows are cancelled because of the Olympic Games, then it should last 3 weeks only, not the whole summer, unless I missed something.

2 weekly music shows shut down for 3 weeks?

admittedly i haven't been keeping up but in the past i got the impression Inkigayo never really had a no alcohol (or crack) while working rule, at least not for the cameramen

it'll only be for 2/3 weeks at most. from 23rd july until 9th august or so. Inki usually will still announced winner even when they didnt have any broadcast (but now they have like 500pts for live voting portion so I'm not that sure-maybe they'll just cut the live voting portion if they still do announced the winner). But MuCore wont announced any winners for those 3 weeks bcos they have like 1k live voting portion me thinks
