Sue them for what? Letting their contract end? They didn't forcibly disband early.

  • If SouMu or whoever is in the wrong and they have proof of that and they can get something out of that (even if it's symbolic), sure.

Of course we don't know the real circumstances and details and we may never fully know. Maybe we can get hints as time goes by. As of now we can work with very few information:

-SouMu had debt, did borrow from BH, and possibly mismanaged resources. Lot of assumptions as we are basing it on very few statements and not detailed graph of the debt.

-HYBE is preparing a new GG.

-Gfriend had mixed results after a busy 2020 (compared to the hype of being under BH resources) and this could also overworked them under stressing circumstances (being under the risk of coronavirus can be mortifying even with safe measures).

-No real signs of preparing for disbandment (there are some "hints", but to me it is people reaching)

-Disbandment announcement caught everyone by surprise, including SouMu workers, some of the media, fans, no fans, almost everyone. It is clearly not a normal way as Gfriend wasn't under any clear cut scandal or bad blood with the company. They were using social media as normal and had schedule planned. Usually groups near disbandment go to the freeze and have radio silent on social media or just focus heavily in solo activities.

-as abrupt is was, it may have not been that bad as the members are still level headed in their response. Usually in bad disbandment people (members, friends, or family) would spill their beans out of frustration. Maybe they need to be level headed for a possible legal battle, but who knows.

Disbandment is a normal occurrence and outcome. This isn't strange. How it happened was unusual. Each disbandment is its own beast, but I think we can safely say this one was pretty odd.

  • Sue for what? They didn't forcefully end contract before the date of expiration. You know that for a contract to be signed you need a mutual will from both sides, right? Not only group need to want to resign, but company need to want it too. They cannot force group to not resign lol They either offer a new contract or not) Even if they offer new contract with conditions group didn't like they they can negotiate if they want. So far Gfriend disbanded due to contract expiration and apparently nobody wanted to offer them a new contract or contract they'd like and that's it, unless new information is revealed, of course.

However I have a bidder taste on my tongue.

Perhaps it's all destiny! WE must accept it.

  • wait who told you that they didn't let them renew their contract ?

i thought it was the girls who didn't want to renew

Some indications speaks it wasn't done by free mind.
