Who do you prefer, Hero or Antihero?

Which type of hero do you prefer in cinema, dramas and movies?

The classical Hero or the Antihero?

And why ?

My wishes came true in the end, with both his redemption and Reylo’s occurrence. Too bad it rather ephemeral.

I think the redemption only happened because of fan-service rather than it being the plan from the beginning. The reason why it felt halfhearted.

Yes he definitely is. Also they give an antihero character more depths and nuances. Or more complex person who is more relatable.

Exactly. The only Hero I thought was pretty interesting watch/read is Bruce Wayne, if we go with mainstream cinema. Even though many debate if he is a classical hero or more an antihero. It’s not that clear with him.

But thinking about it. He creates the problem and then solves it ... maybe he is both a hero and villain lol

I must say the villains these days are getting more relatable and aren’t these comic kind of evil where they just exist so that the hero can defeat them.
