Kpop is boring without BP

I disagree. Yeah, Blackpink has a higher than normal international "batting average" but there are a few groups out there with material with replay value.

Most don't but there are various standouts like Weeekly, Day6, SHINee, and Lucy who either have a decent catalog already or are starting to build a good one. If you only listen to one genre, you are bound to hit a dry season though.

I disagree, there is so much more to kpop than just BP lol, I guess if you only stan them then yeah but there's like a million more groups or soloists to explore

I actually disagree. I think gg are exciting at the moment especially with Aespa. It opens up the competition which K pop needs imo.

The rookie 4th Gen GG like Weeekly and STAYC seem a lot more diverse and harder to pigeonhole than the previous generation so that makes things more interesting for me.

Added to that these new rookies are so polished and capable out of the box so you're getting both eclectic music PLUS great performances, thus the best of both worlds.

So yeah, I disagree with OP.
