A mixed bag. He is rich, he got there by exploiting people and labour, so I am immediately judgemental of that. Similarly, a lot of the money he donates ends up in White Saviour Charities, which are equally harmful to the people he is trying to help.

On the flip side, the foundation he and his ex-wife established, have introduced ground breaking research, and funded more ground breaking research. The World has a great "debt" to them.

Same as Yan20. Mixed bag. More on the negative lately. In the past I'd have considered him a good rich person, but my opinion on all of this type of people flipped. I have a general opinion that billionaires are a net negative. He is at the top of that group of people.

To get to this level of wealth, one has to do lot of questionable things. No one can get this rich without blood and dirty in their hands.

One of the things not many people talk about is how much tech MS stolen to get to where they are. When he was very active at MS, the company was very active about killing competition and stealing ideas from smaller companies.

He is very careful with his persona of affable nerd, but recently his facade is misleading less people. Not just conspiracy idiots making nonsense claims. Looking at his foundation, there are some dirty there.

His foundation did some good. It is less than people think thou. A big chunk it is just a way to keep the money to himself. He is a pharma bro. His warnings during the pandemic were valid, but his "donations" and aid during it was directed to companies where he invests in. He invested in some questionable things like private prison companies. He backed lot of questionable policies related to education, health care, IP laws, and so on.

Of course he is a cheater as well. His marriage was just appearances. His links with Epstein just rise eyebrows too.

As far as I know he is pretty decent, then again I have not heard any negative news about him.

He could be a Satan worshipper for all I know and loves Justin Bieber. ( not sure which is worse )
