is it easier for mental peace to stan a girl group or boy group? Give your opinions.

It’s been my experience as a K pop fan that both boy and girl group fans are as bad as each other and can be toxic and petty. It makes no difference.

Judging from any fandom ever, I think it is safe to assume it is equally bad for different reasons.

welp the only boy group I kind of stanned was ikon lol but they aren't a good example they got a lot of hate since the time they debuted. Having said that stanning girl groups imo it's harder, girl groups get judged more harshly and constantly scrutinized and also slut shamed, at least for blackpink it's really a struggle to deal with toxic fandoms.

Just follow the music you wanna listen to and leave Stan culture if you can’t handle it. Don’t force yourself to do something you don’t want to lol

For mental health, the most important thing is not to take anything being said about your idol/label/group as an attack to you, ie don’t take it personally. Learn to see the funny side of things.

Once you get that, everything will be fine. Regardless if you stan BGs or GGs

it's peaceful as long as you stay away from the negativity and Twitter.
