Biden admin approves $735 million weapons sale to Israel

    this honestly proves to me that israel is in a "little bro" situation with the US; israel starts conflict, escalates it, names palestine as agressor, and then tugs on the US sleeve to say "look at what they done" and then the US taps in with nuclear fury. Honest, I think the US should just not sell the weapons and turn the other way; they've already screwed too many pooches..

    Repubs will tell you the horrific stuff they're planning. Dems will sugarcoat it but still do almost all the same stuff. Hell Dems would be considered undoubtedly right wing over.

    People should stop pointing out to just individuals. It doesn't matter who is the president in this case. As long Israel is the Western power foothold in that region, they will get their donut from USA, Canada, France, whoever.


    This is basically a money laundry scheme. USA gives money to Israel to buy the American weapons. Israel doesn't need the weapons per se as they are a huge weapon dealer themselves. They sell weapons to other Arab nations, for instance. That's one of the reasons some of Arab nations are throwing their Palestinian brothers under the bus.


    USA isn't special in this particular case. The Levant is of a huge strategic importance and Israel is a big player and chess piece there. In theory all countries should impose sanction on Israel. In practice they can't. The timing for that would be around the 70s. Now this train is gone.


    We look at this with a more human prospective, but that rarely matters in the end. Judging from history, that region will not be stable as long there is no clear top dog and nationalism being the top ideology for nation creation.


    My only hope is social media being useful for once in this case because the normal people everywhere are fed up with this shit. At the same time Arab Spring wasn't a good result and we see lot of manipulation everywhere and people weaponizing this for their own interests.


    Myanmar is still a thing and nothing tangible is being done. Myanmar isn't as big of a geopolitical powerhouse like Israel and there are more of a consensus of the regional powers about the situation there.

    Did he strike Syria as soon as possible? If I remember correctly, Trump rather wanted to avoid the war as it was so costly. He wanted to back off from NATO, wanted to call U.S. soldiers back home.
