Agreed. There will be many people (including me) who will stick with aespa whatever concepts they try. And they've only done a few songs so far, let's give them a chance!
their concept in general was a breath of fresh air to me at first and I hope that they will continue to give a unique futuristic-fairytale concept like this, I love it.

I think they'll be fine.

I'm bored of your aespa threads
I'm starting to think the user has a place reserved only for aespa in their brain. There's not other logical reason for this obsession

It took a lot of decades of work for comics based movies to become a public entertainment staple. For staters, they need to develop a deep lore and a rich collection of stories and characters. Then they have to represent them in various media like cartoons, video games, TV shows, and movies. Only then were Marvel movies able to become a cultural icon by the public at large. It will take many years for SM to even get close to that level.

nobody get bored by Marvel movies
Yes, some people do.
Regarding Aespa, I think this kind of gimmick is unnecessary. I don't see what it brings to the table. I'm speaking of the overarching story that supposedly unfolds song after song. Aren't Loona doing the same thing? I don't see the appeal. Delivering good songs should be enough.

A good 80% of the people who like the Marvel movies (or even Batman) don't care about comics, cartoons, or video games though. There are plenty of "casual" fans of the MCU films. Iron Man was a hail mary play. They had to build the MCU on "second tier" characters like Iron Man because they sold the rights to Spider-man and X-Men to avoid bankruptcy.

Obviously SM wants to become bigger than just music, that’s why they are going with the “media universe” plan. They probably want movies eventually
