Some achievements really aren't achievements

when you have nothing else you get a participation reward

those 'achievements' you mentioned are just the kpop equivalent of participation awards

Just let them enjoy and do what they want as long as they don't undermine other's achievements and insult other groups

It's fascinating how kpop stans find records everywhere

IU is the only artist whose name is composed by 2 letters and who is charting on Melon top100

On one side, I agree it can sometimes be ridiculous, I've seen some big reach lol

But as long as it's not done for bad intentions (I don't see how), there's no problems with it. It gives fans pride and it can motivate them to go from specific "achievements" to more impressive ones
