Gaon: BP, NCT, SVT, EXO
Hanteo: As of right now I think Seventeen and EXO has surpassed 1M on hanteo in terms of groups (other than BTS of course.)
For Hanteo --> Best selling albums of each of the acts mentioned above:
- BP: 777k
- NCT: --> NCT Dream: 937k
- EXO:1M
- SVT: 1.15M
NCT Dream should pass 1M with their recent album, it has done around 940k in 5 days i think.
So atm on hanteo its likely going be SVT/EXO --> NCT --> BP
Who are the artists that hit 1 million on Hanteo? Most of them if not all, are probably going to hit 2 million. As for Gaon, since NCT dream had 1.7m pre-orders, rule of thumb is Gaon sales are higher so they'll most probably hit 2million the quickest unless exo pulls the numbers for their june comeback

My bet is either SVT reaches 2 mil this comeback, or it will definitely NCT. I think NCT is growing faster and if seventeen doesn't do it with their next release, then NCT will do it before them.
EXO is still a wild card this year, but (call me a hater) i don't see them reaching 2 mil lmao. Someone pls save this so i have to eat my words.
Edit: and honestly looking at BP sales..... It might be them this year.
At this point BP and 17/other nct units are more sure to get there before exo. I follow a Kai fan on Twitter, very unbiased, and she noted how almost none of the members cbars opened orders for the new album, the preorders now are around 50k+ with both versions on ktown, and for example dream reached 100k+ just in the first day. Most of kfans aren't bulkbuying either, so it looks difficult to sell more than 1 million (her words, not mine)
I used to be more humble but I think Hot sauce will cross 2mills units sold before the year ends, on Gaon and with the jewel case counted. Even neo zone and reload are still selling thousands of copies, resonance started 2021 selling like 300k copies. So the fandom and new fans will keep buying more and more and they will surpass the numbers preordered
Other than them, only bp, 127 and Seventeen seem possible but with special or multiple versions
