This is the prettiest traditional dress I ever saw

It looks ok. The fabric makes it look like some kind of military uniform.
I kinda like that...

I like the military theme but the fabric is too thick for my taste... looks costume-y. The embroidery on the sleeves/shoulders is nice.

Idk the fabric was one of the best parts for me lol. Looking more into it these are the other versions
And yeah about the military theme, this dress was trending a while back with people using in their fantasy warrior princess atworks and I thought so too. I got curious about the designer and turns out it was just a traditional dress, without trying to do anything military or costume like. That was awkward lmao

The black one definitely gives me a commander vibe lol. Not a bad thing though.
I'm trying to figure out the term for what those horizontal bars on the chest would be called in the context of a military uniform... but I'm clearly picking the wrong search terms because I'm getting back nothing. Maybe it's not a real military thing at all and just something some random mangaka invented at some point.
Like this for instance:

I really like clothes like this. I was looking for something similar but didn't know where to buy it. I read the reviews stitch fix customer service and decided to buy a dress there and it suited me perfectly. Now I'm looking for different accessories to complement the image

The white number does look the most "ceremonially formal".

This dress is from my culture. We are not Eastern European, that came after the genocide of my people purported by Russia after a 100 year war that ended in mid 1800's and we lost our nation. We are the indigenous people of that region and have been forgotten about by the world. The "military style" type decor have been long used by royally in Persia, turkey and numerious regions of the Caucasus mountains (families of princely origin or aristocracy. Our DNA is highly specific but we are not European. We likely came from ancient mesopotamia so middle eastern is probably more accurate but the region we are from was/ is called "Asia minor" once Russia took over we have largely become obsolete our culture and Nation destroyed. There is a lot of misinformation about us as a whole sadly but as a whole no one really cares anymore. We are primarily Muslim and I imagine anyone who learned about our culture, language and customs would be in for a shock due to usually lumping us in the same category as Russia or Europe.
Oh, the chest decor were once used as fasteners like a button or hook and eye. :)
Hope this helps with some info.
