What does 'mafia in the morning' mean?

And when is "morning"? Like morning still night or morning morning when the sun is showing light?

And are they killing people with the gun gestures or are they handling real Colt .45s?

And why are they committing homicide? for what? a racketing scheme gone wrong and/or retaliation? Did somebody steal that M*A*C makeup bag and now they're brandishing pistols to get after them? I want to know what it's all this about.
