About Beyond meat

not necessarily that brand but I've had a lot of mock meats and it's alright to me...

but then again I eat mostly anything so...

it tastes good to me, but i'm slightly biased being vegetarian my whole life.

No. My local salad shop has mock meat as an option for protein but I would rather just have chicken. I have tried some mock mutton at a friend's house and it was pretty good so not all mock meat taste bad

I did at fast food places and it tastes pretty good but the texture is still off.....

beyond meat is mayonnaise

I've had it a few times. It is decent. I like that it's pea based protein instead of soy. There is a bad practice of not fermenting soy in the West given all the products it's in.

Yeah both beyond meat and impossible meat are the closest we're getting to a meatless replica of meat. I'd say they are pretty close, and I do like them, but I'm also vegan so like there is some bias in there.

Ex-heavy meat eater. I tried different brands including Beyond Meat. Beyond Meat is close enough. The rest were so so in terms of how close tastewise. They all taste fine even if it doesn't taste anything close to beef.

Price is starting to get competitive as well. It's good that this can lower need for cattle. I wonder if we can have fish, chicken, and pork substitute as well.

Dunno about its future if lab meat becomes widespread commercially.
