Article: "Or not?" Photographer hunted down as Aespa's 'hidden camera criminal'

    1. [+547, -4] Or not ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ how shameless

    2. [+243, -2] They had no problem spreading the victim's identity and yet when it's time for their apology, they hide their face behind a mask and hat... Reveal their face on a photoline.

    3. [+85, -1] Libel should be punished heavily

    4. [+18, -0] Kyah~ ruined a person's life by using their real name everywhere while they apologize by hiding behind anonymity. This is the reality of feminists on Twitter ^^

    5. [+13, -0] Do not let them off easy. There is not one genuine feeling behind those apologies and even if they were genuinely sorry, they won't be next time. Teach them a lesson that they don't just get to commit a crime and apologize their way out of it.

    6. [+11, -0] It's not normal to hunt down a person like this without checking any of the facts, ruin their images, and then just say "or not, it's their fault for acting suspiciously" when they're called out for being wrong

    7. [+9, -0] Good on SM for taking care of their staff. They could've left the photographer out to dry but they clarified it for them.

    8. [+7, -0] They should at least apologize with their face showing... it's not fair when the photographer has already suffered their identity being revealed everywhere

    9. [+5, -0] So these fans think their own face is worth protecting while spreading another person's identity everywhere?

    10. [+4, -0] You should reveal your face too, especially since you had no problem revealing the identity of another

  • So they accused him of taking a spy shot of Winter's butt. But it was proven he didn't? How? Just curious.

Also, why would anybody take a spy shot right in front of a camera during an interview. Seems like the worst time to do it.

  • This is why it's so dangerous to suggest things like this, even now some fans are still saying he did it when it seem apparent he didn't.

This guy is a photographer on set how many hundreds of images from all angles do you imagine he has of the shoot? If he wanted images of that nature he wouldn't take them in front of a freaking film crew lmao.

But it's been said by some fans and others will continue to harass, abuse and still attempt to destroy his career for no reason other than their own stupidity.

  • Why would a professional photographer take pictures of an idols butt during an interview. And in front of a film crew. So that people can catch him doing it? That's kind of dumb. But Kpoppies being a pain in the butt isn't something new.

That black bar on the right side in the live monitor of the photos of giselle being taken.

    "

The case is pretty much closed and most people are saying that it's a misunderstanding based on the video.

reason why people are saying it's closed:

You can see there's a monitor to the right side and you can see the said staff (who's actually in charge of the photoshoot) leaning and checking the monitor. In a photoshoot, there's a monitor that brings up the photos taken almost immediately which allows people to check the results as the photoshoot occurs. We also know there's a photoshoot of a different member happening right where they are, which explains the shutter noises.

There's a small edit in the middle where he initially takes out his phone to open the camera app that gives a wrong impression but, often times you do have to give updates to other people who are involved in different departments, clients, etc. via text and stuff, and this is what he has done. (albeit, the middle process has been removed via editing)

In the video, you can see him open up the camera app, leans over the members to see the monitor because they are in the way. There's a cut here where probably takes the photo of the piece on the monitor, and sends a message. Back on the video, he checks the photo on the monitor one last time by leaning in (because again, the Aespa members are in the way) before putting his phone away.

A lot of people were trying to stay neutral about this because of what internet has done to the man who allegedly sexually harassed Suzy back in 2014? Almost drove him to insanity until a fancam from different angle finally surfaced. Yes, we know there's a lot of creeps in the industry, but we don't want to ruin a innocent (for now) person's life based on suspicious video only. A lot of people committed suicides in Korea because of hateful comments just from suspicions, only to be proven innocent later"

  • Unless we have 3rd party witnesses that saw this from a better angle, it's impossible to judge.

To me, his behavior is suspicious in that he fiddles with his phone and then walks behind her and pauses for some reason, and then we see him walk away while putting his camera in his pants pocket.

OTOH, can he even get his phone at the right angle to do an upskirt shot? I've been on photo shoots and to get a low angle, the photog has to be literally on his knees or use some sort of gimble. It makes no sense, unless her skirt barely covered her ass cheeks, all he got was a picture of Winter's skirt, he couldve easily done that from farther away.

Best would be for the dude to voluntarily turn his phone over to SM but honestly, would any of us voluntarily turn our phones over to a stranger or a company? He couldve deleted the photos already too and to get those photos back probably requires a court order to confiscate the phone and have some experts do some forensic data retrieval.

    Basically, it's just a mess.

  • My friend is a photographer and I've helped him on countless photoshoots. Like you said, there are so many opportunities to get spyshots. Using a crappy camera phone, at an awkward angle, during an interview, on camera is not the best time for it. With that said, I or my friend would never do such a despicable thing.
