There is a difference between the meanings that both words hold. But regarding your question, no, I would not sing it out loud as it does indeed have a similar sound to the N-word.

I explained to my family already that naega and niga are Korean words that have a different meaning from the English word (not same word but similar sounding) and they agreed with me that it's a different language and there's no correlation

the vowels for the 2 korean words and the derogatory term are all pronounced differently, so if you listen carefully they all don't really sound that similar.. if you don't know how to read korean it might seem like they're similar but if you know how to read it then it's easy to tell the difference
