I'm pretty left-sided liberal. I'm not extreme left but I wouldn't say I'm in the middle either as a lot of my values do align left.
Most of my values align left but I'm pro-death penalty. I am also against the legalization of marijuana, but at the same time I also think alcoholic beverages should be more regulated as well. The use of anything which causes sedation and/or increases in reaction time has to be controlled in a society where people operate moving vehicles-often at speeds greater than 50 MPH. It is actually pretty irresponsible for government and society as a whole to be letting both things occur concurrently: Consumption of sedatives and operation of motor vehicles. There are laws punishing people who get caught in the act but those laws are not preventing it from happening in the first place.
I'm conservative but I like to hear other's opinions and reasoning
I am of the Peace and Freedom party, I do not really fit either political stance. I am anti war and very much for equal rights and bodily autonomy (abortion being the woman's choice; especially after some childhood trauma I was forced to endure because of conservative extremists in the state I lived in), I also am corporations getting massive tax breaks all the time. I feel people should not be judged on tattoos, or hair color at interviews but on past work experience and ethic alone. Visuals have nothing to do with if someone is a good person. I cannot stand the anarchist views many left leaning people have though either. But most conservatives will just say "I am a blind leftist millennial who doesn't understand that old school values have to stay in place". Like ummm nah I am just a flipping hippie who believes in fair treatment and human rights. :ak_minniesus:

SAME. Like there are extreme left, we can't deny that but I also am not here asking for complete anarchy, I just want people people to have HUMAN RIGHTS.

Yes! I laugh when some people say I am the same as the extremists but then yell at me when I point out that if that was the case then all conservatives must be racist and members of the KKK by that logic. Like homie do not generalize anyone fighting for human rights as a extremist then. Many of us just peacefully protest and host picnics to do such in parks while holding signs and petitions. :ak_nagorage:
Left-leaning liberal.
I’m a liberal
Contrary to how I might come across, I'm liberal. I've taken quizzes on this to see where I align politically and hav always ended up somewhere on the liberal side.
Sure, there are plenty of leftists who give us a bad name. Performative activism, liberals who preach equality but promote ideology or legislation that throws another race under the bus, and the toxic side of cancel culture are all faults associated with liberalism, but the answer isn't to turn conservative out of spite. It's to call out any problematic behavior and thought processes; we need more of that. Liberals can be racist, too. Let it be known and call it out.
Wherever we are on the political spectrum, I hope we have the human decency to respect everyone as long as they have decent views. That's all we can hope for, right? We don't have to agree with each other on everything, as factors such as upbringing and religion play a role in our political views, but we can still respect each other as human beings.
Liberal democracy had a good run with Roosevelt. Today's liberalism is just neo-liberalism. Conservatism is discount fascism in disguise. None of these ideologies represent me at slightest. I really hate this false duality of American politics. American liberalism isn't left or left enough. It's center right at best, but more like corporatism in real terms right now. Conservatism stopped being right. Now it's just bat shit crazy closer to fascism and/or theocracy in real terms as well. They all say X, but do Y. Anyway, these two ideologies hardly represent me on theoretical and in practical terms.
I'm more into pragmatism. Problems should not be focused on political ideologies and just focus in finding real tangible solutions based on expertise.
I'm liberal
I am socially conservative yet economically left.
I'm hard left, I do not identify with "liberal".
I enjoy walking down center isle.
