Favourite Kdrama/K-movie characters?

I love love love kdramas/have watched over 20 kdramas and a few movies as well, for me my all time favourite characters are

(All of them have that similar vibe of being characters you empathise with and want to root for)

Han Jipyeong from Start Up (Kim Seonho)

Saying I was in love with this character all of last November is an understatement

Kim Junghwan from Reply 1988 (Ryu Junyeol)

This scene is perfect (perfectly heartbreaking but whatever) He's the real definition of a tsundere who is frustrating but you can't help rooting for

Shim Suryeon from Penthouse (Lee Jiah)

A recent favourite She's an arguably morally grey character but I love her, she's so elegant, pretty and the Queen of revenge

Jihye from The Classic (Son Yejin)

Son Yejin is always good but the way she expressed her emotions and inner conflict in this movie resonated with me

The movie is pretty old now and pretty sad

Seo Dan from Crash landing on you (Seo Jihye)

I wish we saw more of her TT She was so cute tbh, not a ice princess like I thought at the start

Also Hwang Yongsik from When the Camellia blooms (Kang Haneul)

Too amazing of an actor not to mention and the character was too cutee

The Hospital playlist main friendship group, I can't even choose one because I love all 5 of them

This drama is a must watch imo, the humour is exactly my style and it's full of warm moments

They're all warm, funny and caring

Hwang Inyeop was a great second lead, tbh I was iffy about him playing Seojun but he made the character more likeable ~

Honestly the entire main cast of Sweet Home was PERFECT and I love them so much.

Sweet Home looks like it was a great drama with a great cast

I don't like horror genre (I think that's what sweet home fits into?) but I've seen some clips

Pretty much everyone in Reply 1988 and Hospital Playlist, i really liked how these shows had no villan. The hole main cast from Mr Sunshine.

Capitan Ri and the north korean soldiers from CLOY, female leads were really cool aswell.

The main leads in My Mister, their relationship is so beautiful and both have great character development.

Loony from Prison Playbook, this show had great characters, but he really stood out for me. He was so funny.

Han Ji Pyung (Start Up) and Woo Tak (WYWS), both really sweet second leads. Han Seo Jun was also great in True Beauty, he stole the show for me.

CLOY was better than I expected it to be

I've been thinking of watching Prison Playbook, I think it's by the same writer of R1988 and Hospital Playlist

Quite a few kdrama characters out there would actually be seen as pretty toxic people in real life.

Those two definitely didnt have that. They where both written as pretty sweet and lovable characters tbh, without them being boring in my opinion. They wherent without flaws, I dont want to imply them being perfect, but yeah you know what I mean. Plus I think the combination of them both just really made them even better.

I would even rewtach this kdrama, even though motherfucking Jisoo is the second male lead. Thats how good that pair was.

I get what you mean, even though the plot for me was meh and Jisoo was in it, those two had so much chemistry and were just super cute to watch ~ I think it had something to do with the actors too, if I'm correct the actor who played the main guy said he finds Park Boyoung cute or something, and that she fit her character perfectly :')
