Besides BTS, can any Kpop group or soloist match BP's album sales? BP sold over 2.1 million in a little over 9 months.

The ones you mentioned and tbh I think Twice can sell this much too.

Boys groups in general use a lot more gimmicks, and they have a bigger and more dedicated fanbase, not really apples to apples. Then you have to remember that all those boy groups mentioned above have a lot more members too.

Keeping that in context, there is really no other group that can match their sales on the same terms, at least not right now.

BTS don't release photobook single albums, their solo work has no physical releases, they don't bundle and they were less versions of both their albums last year compared to blackpink's first album

Seventeen had more sales last year, 3.5M album sales if I remember correctly.

NCT also sold quite a lot last year as well, their Resonance pt1 and the repackage, pt2, sold a lot over just a span of couple months— 2.8M album sales.

Exo, is also extremely capable of selling a lot in just couple months— their solo acts alone are breaching the million mark easily.

I truly hope they weren't implying BTS is someone who uses to gimmicks to sell as if they didn't release BE which has 2 versions of which the main one costs $50 and the 2nd version was released months later and it still sold 3.6M
