yeah, it legally has to be called "processed cheese" or "processed American cheese" bc it can barely be considered actual cheese.

Every USA citizen would say, "No cheeseburger without american/fake cheese"

Yes yes, i call it processed cheese, but i didn't know what was the right english expression for it. Thx!

I once looked at the comments of a mac and cheese recipe, and one woman said she substituted the cheddar with American cheese because "her husband likes American cheese". I would have just used sharp cheddar, a young gouda, some parmesan, and divorced him honestly.

Yeah, processed cheese or American cheese is what we call it. "Processed American cheese" is more about legal labelling standards.

this particular one is from a caw, but there are also goat, sheep, and believe it or not a donkey. the donkey one is expensive af, nobody sane would give 1k dollars for a kilo.
it's really not, it's the opposite, your kinds of cheese is made for a sandwich :) this one is for pies or how we call it pita here and here, salads, basically everything but the sandwich :)
-
I like basically all kinds of cheese. A favorite of mine would be Ossau-iraty from southwestern France.

Sheep cheeses are superior

I like nearly all types of cheese but use mozarella and cheddar the most. If we're talking something more fancy and unusual then
- brunost
- paneer
- "korbacz" aka smoked string cheese
- morbier
-

Well, not really, but I never seen a block of cheese. For the kind, I only know mozarella and cheddar, which I don't know what's the different other than its color

The first one seems interesting
It's Norwegian cheese, it's pretty sweet and sort of carmel-like, it's usually eaten for breakfast over toast or waffles and tastes great with strawberry/raspberry jam

Never seen in that shape. Actually, I know them because of pizza and hamburger

They're probably not familiar with fresh mozzarella, but rather the low-moisture mozzarella that's sold in blocks. It's usually used for melting, like for pizza.
