And the chorus is giving nothing

I’ll say their vocals sound great on this, but the song just doesn’t sound like anything I’d be playing on repeat.

I love the precarious and chorus 10/10! It sounds so cinematic but the rest wasn’t that great but overall I like it better than Bang Bang

I like the visuals for the MV and the ending shot was nice.

For the song itself, there's good parts and some just okay parts. It doesn't feel like the title track for me and I think Bang Bang gave me better vibes to be their title track. I will need to listen to the album later.

This is teetering between blop and bop for me but I liked it enough on first listen to say bop.

I like it way more than Bang Bang, though it feels like the build-up doesn't pay off and it's missing something to be one of their best. I think it's good enough to be a bop for me.

FLOP! Better than BANG BANG but not by much.

Here's my full-album review. Worst IVE album by far! Starshit should go bankrupt honestly. This was embarassing.

Review

- IVE's latest album feels like a Best-of without the "Best" and not much effort was put into it. Is this their worst album so far? Absolutely! -

BLAKCHOLE: Better than the Pre-release madness, but I feel like I've heard this 100 times. Why IVE have rap parts in their songs I'm never gonna understand. I know they have 2, but I don't think rap suits their style.

"BANG BANG": As I already said, I hate EDM, and this one is probably one of the worst. A sample of an Iconic Nancy Sinatra song should offer more than just the same title.

"HUSH": It's not bad, but it's too repetitive, nothing to remember.

"STUCK IN YOUR HEAD": Sadly, it didn't stick, but at least it didn't make my head hurt. Just like "HUSH" another repetitve Dance-Pop.

"FIREWORKS": The only group song on the album that offers something vocally and production-wise. The rap was bearable too. Still unnecessary tho. Best song on the album, but it's just decent.

"HOT COFFEE": A hot coffee without caffeine means nothing.

Solo songs.

Wonyoung - "8": I deserve a gold medal for listening to the whole song. If someone told me this was made with ChatGPT I would believe them. No personality whatsoever. Childish, cringe lyrics that showcase when popularity gets in your head and this is what you write first as a soloist. The "composition" is just LOUD NOISE! The worst song on the album by a mile!

Gaeul - "ODD": It's a decent Dance-Pop song I can listen to multiple times, but it's more like a nice background music.

Leeseo - "SUPER ICY": This is basically the little sister of Wonyoung's solo song. Same ChatGPT lyrics, but the composition isn't as irritating.

Liz - "UNREAL": It's your typical, feelgood Dance song mixed with Pop-Rock elements. It's not 'unreal', but it's definitely the best solo.

Rei: "IN YOUR HEART": I think this is where all the caffeine was used instead of "HOT COFFEE". This is basically a Super Mario song on crack. Just like caffeine it wakes you up, but 2 minutes later, you're tired again.

Anyujin - "FORCE": Another decent Pop song, but the "force" is missing, sadly. At least they tried!
