What will happen when NMIXX defeats Golden? Will NMIxx finally be vindicated?

  • Do you think NMixx' victory over Huntr/x will finally put it into the first tier? 12

    1. Yes (7) 58%
    2. No (5) 42%

Huntr/x would have topped the Melon Daily chart for 100 days today.

However it is now very likely that there will be no 101st day

NMixx has finally got its acts together and is attacking Huntr/x relentlessly.

It is now a given that NMixx will reach #1 at Melon Daily Chart. The question would be how the position of NMixx will be raised.

Itzy and NMixx did not top Melon Daily and also were not that prominent in other charts so they were seen with less than a favorable light for JYP followers.

Itzy is a different issue, but if NMixx can accomplish the impossible task of humbling Huntr/x, something only Taylor Swift could do in USA, NMixx' position in KPop would be raised significantly.

  • On the 21st of October, 1805, Napoleon Bonaparte was riding high on the success of his continental conquests and had already secured France's dominance over much of Europe. At that moment, he was considered the most powerful military leader in the world, his name synonymous with battlefield brilliance. His vision was clear: to invade Britain, crush its resistance, and bring an end to the last major obstacle to his imperial ambitions. Napoleon had amassed a fleet of over 30 ships, combining French and Spanish forces, intending to break the British blockade and clear the Channel for an invasion force.

On the other side of the battle stood Horatio Nelson, a man whose rise was as unconventional as his tactics. Born to a modest family, with a frail constitution and a series of early failures in his career, Nelson was not the typical figure of military genius. In fact, many doubted his potential early on, and he faced personal setbacks, including the loss of an eye and an arm. Yet, through sheer determination and a daring spirit, he rose to prominence in the British Navy, earning a reputation for his boldness, unorthodox strategies, and personal courage. Where others saw a soldier bound by rules, Nelson saw a battlefield full of opportunities, and it was this ability to think beyond conventional tactics that made him one of the greatest naval commanders in history.

At Trafalgar, Nelson’s genius came to full fruition. With a fleet of 27 ships, he faced a vastly larger enemy force, yet he refused to fight a traditional line battle. Instead, he split his forces into two columns and charged directly at the French and Spanish lines, engaging them in close, brutal combat. The result was decisive. Despite being shot by a French sniper and mortally wounded during the battle, Nelson's tactical brilliance led to the destruction or capture of 22 enemy ships. The British emerged victorious, with the French and Spanish fleets shattered, and Napoleon's invasion plans dashed.

Yet, for all his triumphs, Nelson’s historical stature would never quite match Napoleon's. While the French emperor’s name would echo across history as the embodiment of ambition and empire, Nelson, despite his legendary victory, would always remain a relative footnote in Napoleon’s story. His victory at Trafalgar was vital, but in the grand narrative of Europe’s transformation under Napoleon, Nelson’s name, though revered, would always play second fiddle to the towering figure of the French emperor.

  • I used that allusion to IU defeating SNSD at home when SNSD showed up in the David Letterman Show. Although SNSD's reach was greater , IU had a longer staying power, at least among the Koreans, and lasted until this year.

And the Trafalgar Square still stands at London, while a lot of people, like Nelson Mandela, bears his name

Nelson is rather better known in Korea, because he is compared often with Lee Sunsin, Korea's most celebrated naval leader.
