HYBE has their fingers in too many low profit companies, their Idols business is fine and is probably saving them from doing worse.

YGE looks to be recovering well from all the debt they had to pay.

i think the issue with Hybe is the operation costs are too high, because trying to diversify

Their net profit has always been low. Some of it is due to unprofitable businesses (cough cough HYBE America)...some of it is shady stuff.

I know HYBE's profit seems low, but I think people are not accounting for cost of the various Broadcast Jockeys that Bang has to hire to help him navigate LA.

It was either the 2023 or 2024 result in which HYBE America lost like a $100mil, almost wiping out HYBE's total profit entirely.

I don't think Bieber or Grande are managed by Ithaca/HYBE anymore. Ariana still seems to have some contractual obligations, but she is managed by Good World.

In financial reports, the second quarter usually covers the period from April 1 to June 30. During this time, BM held concerts in several cities in Japan, as well as in Asian countries such as Singapore and Hong Kong. In April, Treasure performed in a few locations in the USA and Japan. BP’s world tour began on July 5. So, the answer could be touring.

I think the profits may be retained earnings (after dividends), hence why profit is so low with Hybe, as the shareholders just raid the profits to take a large cut of them.

It's better, if it were possible, to look at which labels and subsidiaries are in the green and the red. Then, you'll get a better outlook. HYBE IM (or whatever it is called now) does consistently bad.
