The reliability of streams data from previous years is probably not very good. Spotify is trash too, no explanation on those streams removal, not possible to take them seriously and their daily charts is worthless if they remove streams at the end of each month

I agree with you. I just think these top kpop groups have inflated popularity that's largely carried by their fans as witnessed by these numbers. It seems like they have hits but at most are just one hit wonders (BTS Dynamite, Jungkook Seven, Rose APT). Their fans and the hype around them would make it seem as if they have 100 popularity but in actuality have 70 popularity. It looks big because the rest of the genre is on 30.
They are definitely very popular in Asian countries though and the streams show that.
