my hero academia, jujutsu kaisen, chainsaw man (only has a manga, anime coming this year) are some of the best shounen jump has to offer rn. doctor stone and demon slayer are also popular.

Fruits Basket if you prefer softer themes.

Ancient Magus's Bride was good, from lately. Also a fairly short series, so easy to get through quickly.

Chihayafuru, which sounds like it has an odd premise but turns out to be a really sweet drama

Last Exile is... flawed but good.

Code Geass is... flawed. Some people like it, I quit four episodes in because the characters were insufferable.

Planetes is a good space anime; it tries to go for realism rather than flashy sci-fi.

Psycho pass was a good cyberpunk anime

Steamboy is a good steampunk anime

Last exile is a good dieselpunk anime

(steamboy and last exile are flawed in the same way: if you like steampunk/dieselpunk, then this is creme de la creme but if you there for the story, you could say that the story is a little loose at times.)

Anything by studio ghibli is a good feel-good movie

Kimetsu no yaiba because Tanjiro is like the dream brother

Trigun anime because its just random. pure random.
