This is why I always do research. These days I don't trust anything. Kids looking like 25 year old women. I don't know about Tiktok, I don't use it. I could cook an egg on my phone every time I open it, so I deleted it. 😂 Not that Insta or Twitter is better with all the corn bots.

Well, it's different to follow teen Kpop groups when you're a teen as well, but not anymore when you're 37.
I'm not saying, I'm not gonna listen to their music if I like it, but that's all. Talking about their looks and other stuff is a big no for me. To be fair, it's always a no for me, but I can say stuff like: "She's hot as hell." when it's about a 30 year old woman.

I understand what you're saying. It's just most of the industry puts looks far ahead of music quality and that's why 95% of kpop fans are here. These companies would rather you fall in love with the members more than their music. So hearing people say "Ew she's only 18? I'm out of here" when we know they aren't here cause kpop is on the level of classic rock is kind of a head scratcher.

Visuals are always more important than quality in mainstream media, not just in Kpop.
I follow Kpop since 2003 thanks to BoA, we're basically the same age, I always thought she's cute, but that's all. I never cared about looks that much when it comes to music or film (movie and shows). I'm old-fashioned, but in a good way, at least I think. 😂 If you look at my faves, all of them release quality music or at least average.

Thing is, the girl in question here isn't even 18 yet. She's still 17. Her bday is September 23, 2007 making her still 17.
