Same. one of my all time fave shows too until capaldi's run ended. I pretend Jodie and ncuti seasons never happened. tried first 5 episodes of jodie's first season. Dropped it after the show though us that locking up and suffocating living creatures is better than just shooting them 😬

Not latest but previous episode was sequel to midnight episode (the best episode ever for me). It wasn't bad but thankfully it has basically no connection to Midnight. Russel is reusing his old ideas, he's plagiarizing himself lol

People have abandoned the show because preachiness and pandering are unbearable. The doctor cries all damn time and he's saved no one. Companions run the show. The show will be cancelled or should i say put on hiatus for a long time and that's sad

It was once a phenomenal show. Browsing my old blog made me so happy, it reminded me of how good it was. But it also made me so sad because now it's shit lol. Politics ruined it. "but doctor who has always been political!" Ofc it was but writers actually knew how to tell a story without spelling everything out. They really think we are stupid, don't they. New actor is awful, he doesn't have a gravitas that's needed to play the doctor. There's a meme; he's cried in every episode, and people are betting how much time he will cry in next episode because ofc he will lol. The show, the showrunner (rtd) and actors don't miss a chance to call audience racist and homophobic. HELLO! CAPTAIN JACK HARKNESS?! the popular character you, rtd created?! Character that is attracted by all species?! Martha jones?! I'm so mad at everything doctor who now. We need a break and we need someone who can think about story first and not politics.

This speech is iconic. Peter capaldi is a phenomenal actor. He deserved better scripts. Awful scripts he got he elevated with his talent. Many would made the show unwatchable.
