Applications opened the same day the announcement was made, and are open to applicants of any nationality born between 2006 and 2015. The audition offers three categories: vocal, rap and dance.
Starting in Seoul on April 19, the audition tour will visit 14 cities across 11 countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. The final successful candidates will join The Black Label as trainees and begin their training process.
Applicants can pre-register online to receive details about on-site auditions, though on-site registration is also available. Further information will be distributed via The Black Label's official Instagram account and the global audition page.
Founded on March 17, 2016, as an affiliate label of YG Entertainment, The Black Label is led by producer Teddy, who previously produced several legendary K-pop groups, including Bigbang, 2NE1 and Blackpink. The label was established under the direction of YG Entertainment’s executive producer Yang Hyun-suk, with producer Kush and a large team of producers joining to build its foundation. The Black Label’s current artists include Taeyang of Bigbang, Rose of Blackpink, girl group Meovv and Jeon Somi. -

They prob got trainers on their payroll that don't have anything to do. They'll get new trainees just to stick them in the basement until the trainees get tired of waiting and leave the company.
They already have Somi, Meovv, and everyone forgets about izna (Teddy and VVN are supposed to be producing for them). Maybe they want to debut a boy group??
