Where the stats?
Rebel Heart is still the biggest hit for 2025 so far but it feels like otherwise...

They will say IVE does not have international impact despite having a hugely successful world tour
Which I attended and I can tell you they were fking amazing their vocals were extraordinary
Can't say the same for some other groups who were criticized widely on various sites for lipsyncing half of their concert
Good for you. Aespa was rightfully criticised(except on Reddit where they posted about this issue twice a day for a month) for lypsinging half of their concert. And they sang whole encore concerts live. I hope they go on that route.
As for their charting Rebel Heart doesn’t feel really big, and everybody can confirm that. Even in Korea it didn’t stay on top for long, nor did its ULs were impressive, that’s just objective facts, so no need to get heated over that. Is it a hit? Yes. Is it a mega hit? No.

Yeah it is flopping. Nugudom and disbandment incoming.
Y'all should stream to save IVE from disbandment

Well we're not in South Korea. I Am was big among kpop fans in general and had strong international numbers as well, not just domestic.

I agree and disagree
We're not in SK but it doesn't mean that as kpop fans we didn't feel the impact and success of big hits in korea like Supernova, Whiplash, Love dive, I am, Super Shy etc.....
the thing of " We're not in a certain country so we don't get the hold the song have in this country" is for me a weak argument nowadays considering the development of social media
With social media now something successfull in one country isn't limited to this country only and can be felt outside of the border of this country
and the opposite effect also work, the international success of something from this country can impact the success of this thing in the country
example with Fifty Fifty song who was popular internationally but not in korea, when the song start to get steam overseas, it helped the song become more successfull in korea

Literally all the songs you mention also have very strong international numbers. Super Shy is one of the most successful GG songs on international platforms ever. These were not just domestic hits.
Btw I wasn't trying to make an argument for Rebel Heart being one of IVE's biggest hits or something, I was just making the point that it's not surprising kpop fans in international spaces don't hear as much about a song that didn't do any numbers internationally. Regardless of social media, at the end of the day people actually living in SK will always know better how big something is in SK, but I see your point.

Isn't 'Home Sweet Home' the best-performing song of the year so far?
