I'm not here to defend Spotify, but look at this. Not sure if this only happened to me, I just checked it now, but I can't even play any of the 3 versions. I don't even understand why she has 3 different versions of the same album. 1 has 12 songs and the other 2 has 15.
This time, you should blame her company. It's pretty obvious they messed up something. I mean, Spotify servers can be messy, but they can't do anything with the songs, it's uploaded by her company. I'm pretty sure, Spotify can only remove songs if they want, but they don't edit credits, fix things let alone messing with streaming numbers. Especially if it's Lisa when she's basically the Spotify girl. 🤣
As for the "FUTW" song, it can have the same numbers if her company messed up the credits, so Spotify's system thinks it's the same song.
EDIT: Now I can play the songs. So, that's fixed.

On Melon is different, because Jennie's songs are Explicit, and if she wants to promote on Music Shows she has to use her censored version, just like she did it with Mantra.
I don't see the issue with this? Doesn't Spotify pay based on the percentage of time a song has been played throughout the year? As long as the total number remains the same, and she's properly credited, she should still be paid the same right? Maybe a bit less if there's an arbitrary minimum of plays a song needs to do.

if that happened it was UMG that took care of those kind of promotions, YG wouldn't even care ( I wish they did). but I do think blackpink as a group ( than individually) are much of a stronger brand, Blinks and casual fans prefer to stream more for blackpink than for their solo stuff

Well, I'm not sure about every platform, but on Spotify, you can see that she has 2 versions. One with the Explicit versions and one normal. At least if you enabled Explicit songs on Spotify, because the default mode is off. Especially if you're under 18.
