I did not watch the whole 4 episodes, just a bit of episode 4.
When it was announced that the Former Owner of Edam Entertainment and Park Bogum were announced, most people expected them to be star crossed lovers, going to hurdles and unbelievable sufferings very common in K-dramas.
However the story didn't follow like that - no big incidents occurred, the characters were married, and the female lead has a daughter, who just happens to look like the Former Owner of Edam Entertainment!
So the real story is about the daugther, not the mother and father played by the Former Owner of Edam Entertainment and park Bogum , but the Former owner of Edam Entertainment and at least 3 actors (which will include Lee Junyoung, who would be her first love but would not marry; at least two more men, one of them possibly Kim Seonho!) who are, I have to say, a bit lesser known than Park Bogum.
That is like the story of KPop.
KPop fans around the world got interested in KPop through their faves, who they thought were the No.1 singers in there.
However, they were shocked to see a certain soloist, who sang songs which did not appeal to foreigners but continued to top something called the Melon Chart, the only digital chart available from Korea before Spotify.
The incalculable damage to KPop the singer who would become the Former Owner of Edam Entertainment cannot be measured . In fact it is probable that she suppressed the rise of Kpop by 7 years.
Fittingly her drama is like that - advertised as a Former of Edam Entertainment - Park Bogum romance, it has become a romance of Former Owner of Edam Entertainment and other actors. That is called, I have to say, false advertising.
