Just in case anyone ever doubted my love of BABYMONSTER, I schlepped 2 hours both ways to go see them last night in Newark. This was my first kpop concert and first time going to a concert alone. But it was genuinely such a great experience, I was just smiling and vibing for 2 hours straight.
I've watched clips from pretty much all of their concert performances so I kind of knew what to expect going in, and there were really no surprises, but the clips do not do them justice and everything is just elevated tenfold in person. Their vocals, visuals, energy, and crowd interaction was absolutely phenomenal. Their live vocals were just so good I couldn't even believe it, and the energy from the girls just kept the crowd engaged the entire time, it was really great. They were all so cute running around and grabbing phones from fans, reacting to signs, etc. Also their English was surprisingly good, especially Pharita, Ahyeon, and Asa.
Anyways I just wanted to make any Monstiez aware that BABYMONSTER is well worth the money to see in person, you will not regret it. Here are some pics I took, they kinda suck and I wasn't trying to be on my phone the whole time:
