Unpopular opinion - JYP should have debuted Nmixx in 5th gen?

You canโt just re debut a group unless they add new members

The Butterfly effect! Had they debuted in recent times/5th gen Jinni could have stayed

well NJZ is, but those are different circumstances.
But I do agree with you, I think nmixx could've been more successful had they debuted later, closer to 5th gen. Though they did have a rough start with the reception of O.O (which I actually love) and losing a member.

Yeah maybe but I have not seen a group who completely recovered after a member left.
It also depends on WHY Jinni left because I'm not believing that personal circumstances bs.

I think the leading rumor was she was caught leaving a hotel with her boyfriend? Which isnโt bad but during the rookie days can have bad publicity
I really hope that wasnโt the reason they kicked her out

I know but not exactly. During their controversy, I saw many people saying that Garam should never have left because LSF apparently needed someone who was in the trainee system for a long time and had "actual talent." I'm very sure that sentiment will follow them around for the rest of their careers because some people are relentless lol.
Even SNSD hasn't fully recovered since Jessica left. Momoland and TVXQ fell apart. I could prolly name more but only (G)i-dle has shown signs of recovery and even then, it doesn't seem like the members themselves have moved on from it, completely.
I hope so too cuz that would be an extremely lousy reason to ruin a young girl's dreams over.

I dunno what goes on behind the scenes but maybe JYPE had some sort of imperative to debut them - cost of training, business decisions etc etc

if one looks at the numbers then one would say Gidle post Soojin has arguably done better than pre Soojin
but obviously that depends on what one considers "recovers"

Yeah I can only hope that the group does well and gets better.
Yeah, I'm not considering "recovers" in that regard.
I mean 'recovers' in the sense that the group's synergy has been lost (at least, imo)
