Who is more talented: Itzy or Le Sserafim?

    I’ve seen a lot of discussion about this on TikTok and Twitter, so I’m curious what AKP thinks about this.


    Itzy and Lsfm are very similar groups when we think about, even tho their music is vastly different.

    Both of these groups have 5 members, have very good dancers and performance oriented. Both groups have similar weakness, which is vocals. Still I think Itzy is better vocally than Lsfm. But for example Huh Yunjin has a lot of writing and composing credits under her belt unlike Itzy members.

    So who do you guys think is more talented overall? Like in terms of stage presence, dancing abilities, vocals and producing skills?

    Give your reasoning in your replies pls.

    Vocal technique: Itzy, more stable overall and no true weak link like 2-3 LSF members

    Vocal tone: LSF, their tones overall are more soothing

    Dance: Tied i think

    Rap: Itzy, Ryujin sounds decent

    Music: LSF, more sophisticated and suit their range better

    They don't have elaborate theatrical performances, they don't have meticulous stagecraft or audience interaction, they aren't free and easy on stage, they both focus heavily on hard choreo and energetic aerobics.


    They aren't performers on stage, they aren't acting out a story, or an emotion, or getting swept up in the crowd, they hit their marks in the choreo, do the steps precisely, and first and foremost have little deviation stage to stage on how they perform.


    And there's nothing wrong with that, and people enjoy it, but they aren't "performance oriented". They are dance oriented.

    Well then most 4th -5th gen groups will be either dance oriented or vocal oriented.


    The only group that comes to my mind right know, that is performance oriented, is Boynextdoor.


    Most groups have described performances, but mostly on award shows.

    Regularly only Boynextdoor does theatrical performances in 4th-5th gen, from what I recall

    They are pretty equal


    Chaewon and yunjin are by far much better vocalist than lia and Yeji

    But sakura and eunchae are weaker than ryujin

    But in the same time i much prefer to heard sakura and eunchae sing than have to listen to the annoyingly nasal / try to be cutesy vocal tone of Yuna


    So i guess vocal is for Lesserafim


    Dance i think it's itzy

    Itzy members are all pretty puch equal in dancing

    But you can see the difference in dance skills in lsrf


    Rap wise : i'll give it to itzy


    I thought a lot and i was to say they are tie cuz ryujin, sakura and eunchae are bad with their talking rapping

    But itzy got save cuz i remember Yuna rap in twenty, which was rlly good

    JYP should really stop yuna from singing and make her be a rapper it would be much better


    So the win goes to Itzy

    Not sure how Yunjin having a lot of writing and composing credit serves as an example of Itzy being better vocally. It's not like Yunjin has to sacrifice skillpoints that could have been put into vocals that went in those other categories instead, that not how real life works.

    dancing - itzy. But lsfm also good.
    vocals - itzy (watch tiktok of lsfm coachella)

    stage performance - itzy. Single Yuna stage performance can eliminate lsfm combined. And itzy has also yeji.
    songs - lsfm (jyp gives itzy not very catchy songs lately).

    itzy wins in talent

    poplarity wise songs play important part and having autotune and great song insta makes group popular on spotify. Plus most of the time they lipsync, that's why lsfm popularity is bigger. Also lsfm has 2-3 persons with body goals figure. Unfortunatelly Yuna can't beat them all.

    holy shit i literally short-circuited reading this because it's really difficult to choose

    they probably "max" out equally while the group with the largest dip would be lsrfm

    Well it is just a relative comparison.

    Itzy does have better vocals

    Just hearing their studio tracks - Itzy has much more complex songs vocally, while lsfm doesn’t have those.

    But Lsfm has better producer/ writer in the group.

    It is just up to a person how to weigh each category in final decision.

    Like personally I would put vocals 1st, stage presence/performance skills 2nd, producing/writing at 3rd.
